Thread: Has Anyone Tested the HAR?

I'm sure somebody has one stashed away in the bank. I am wondering:
(1) were the speed and accuracy fixed (I assume not);
(2)does it get the benefit of the higher damage that the flamer just got (I assume not, since its specials don't invole a DoT)
If the damage is the same as it's always been then it's even more relegated to being the flame thrower light.
Edit: I'd test myself, but I'm trapped at work.

I can confirm a no on #1, and I suspect #2 has the same answer, as you said, it has no DoT. I think the long-range accuracy on the HAR might be better now, but I'm not sure (anyone else think it's screwey that a flamethrower is more accurate at long range than a rifle?)

things still worth crap ill get a new crafted one maybe theres some thing new to them but i dought it

Yeah, the damage is going to be the same. The only reason that the flame damage went up is because they are attempting to compensate for DOT damage nerf. There is no DOT on the acid rifle so there is no damage boost (goes nicely with the lack of accuracy and speed =P)

guys no they dint fix the har but last night hunting krayts i used it and i actuly out damed my flamer with it lol my flamer was doing like 500 dam and a 50 burn so pulled out the har and sat back and it was doing 1000 dameg lol
i tell you guys were screwed

I tested it today.
1. Accuracy still majorly sucked.
2. Speed....it is to laugh. At Master, with a 4.9 sliced HAR, took 20 seconds for AcidSingle2 to recook. Pathetic.
3. Damage appears to be the same.
