Thread: What does a One Trick Poney do?

I was just wondering what my other fellow Commando's do for fun in the game given our current status in the profession food chain. I myself do a whole lotta Rebel type stuff (not PvP naturally) and other then that just doing Money missions. I've run out of stuff to do, sure I can decide to go grind crazy with FS exp, but currently I am not in the mood to grind. What is it that you like to do.....besides wait for the C.R. (Combat Revamp)

I kill meatlumps looking for ever-elusive adhesives. Or stock my shop with clothes. Or…well, there's an advantage to playing on TC and having 6 toons.

Have a second character which is something cool like Master Carbineer/Master Pikeman?
Sadly Im mastering Commando Currently. And Ive found Commandos have one weapon worth ever using. Which has all of one special, which comes in single and cone variants [the cone variant I have yet to find useful because of the range and speed limitation. by the time you agro more than one target and are ready to fire coneshot they've closed the 16m gap and now surround you... useless for a cone shot].
I know several other people who mastered commando and dropped it for that reason.
So I have a Carbineer/Pikeman on another for-fun character, and I also have Rifleman on this one for when I want to do something fun but not /logout.... (:

Not a damn thing! Just hang and run misisons for creds and help new players. I have been doing the corvet to get some badges (non yet) Been trying to get positive nym faction for the nym theme park. Thats about it I think.

Ive been a master commando/ master TK pretty much since i started this account, and after months of trying to find a place where my unique commando talents stood out, i finally settled on the covette.
Out of all of the more dificult quests, the corvette is the only one where the heat and acid resists havent been raised through the roof, and you can still do a significant amount of damage.
as such, ive actually gone into business doing it. i pull tickets, and solo loot the corvette, and sell powerplants and schematics on a vendor i had a friend set up for me. it pays the bills.
so.. the 'vette is pretty much geared for us one trick ponys.

Well, I haven't had a whole lot of time on my hands lately (game time) but my current goals are these:
1. FS Combat XP. (Unlocked my first tree over the weekend).
2. Reach Rebel rank of Colonelin the next few weeks (no big hurry) and definitely b4 JTL comes out.
3. Finish the Marks Quests in Tat.
4. Help a couple of newbie guild members get exp.
5. Pick up other atm needless exp for possible future use (Carbine, Rifle and Pistol exp.) re: combat revamp.
6. Do Solo money grinding missions in Dant.
7. Rebel Assasination Mission (Corellian Corvette)

LuciusScipio--good strong Patrician Roman names. I do need to finish the Hero quests and actually complete the Corvette missions. Thanks for the idea's fellas.

I have taken up the FS grind.
Nothing like lobbing a crate of proton grenades just for all the insane ammounts of combat xp.
Love that 3:1 ratio.

TKA, thanks for the complement. I generally stick with Greco/Roman names when I create a character (or make a slight modification). I would have made Lucius my primary name in-game but it's usually a very popular name in MMO's. Anyway, here is a link to a great website with all types of neat Roman info. lol. I love Sulla. I was thinking of making a character named Cornelius Sulla a few months ago.

Well, my typical day in galaxies would involve alot of standing around in bestine, and every once in a while i will throw a grenade, or maybe even launch a rocket at a spice fiend. ok....fine, its more like 10 rockets per fiend.
