I have just read about the combat xp you receive for using grenades and have decided for grinding purposes to stick it out with commando at least while im doing the force sensitive stuff.


Ok for grinding purposes what are the best grenades to use for grinding?

I've made 100k FS exp from grenades using Thermals, Imperial Detonators, and some Protons. Protons are very good damage, but they hurt you a quite bit more than thermals. I got thermals very cheap from a guy on Eclipse for 25k per create of 25 stacks of grenades, 30k for Imperial Detonators and i can hardly find anyone selling crates of Protons but i've bought them at 3k per stack alone.

Mainly, its 80k per factory crate of thermals and about 85k of Protons unless you get lucky like me and find somone selling them dirt cheap lol. And i agree Stalkers are very good combat xp.

Well it depends on your grinding strategy..


Personally, I like to draw out some critters from my mission lair.. have them repair it.. and then lob grenades to the lair while standing in the centor of it, killing everything attacking me or trying to heal the lair.


My current grenades are

"thermal detonators" dmg 1000-2000, radius 7.0, speed 3.7, accuracy 'exelent' (but probably irrelavant). for 50k a crate.


My main concern is the radius.. since it is large, I always hit 5 creatures (maximum agros I get) or more each grenade.



Remember that you pick your target monsters carefully... killing stuff that's generally "hard" will take long, give only fractional more xp per kill and sometimes even have less spawns each lair. Obviously killing stuff that's easy results in generally more time on your bike than actually killing something. (I personally prefer hurton stalkers (10k) and quenckers (13k) on dant)
