Hi everyone, I am steadily working my way towards Master Commando, at the moment I have 1-0-3-0 and I was just wondering what planets I can do some solo hunting on, I keep to Corellia but I am itching for a change, which planets do the other Commandos prefer when it comes to PVE ? By that I mean which planets have a majority of creatures NOT resistant to HEAT, it is a real pity when I come across a creature I want to burn and I find out that it has a high heat resist.

I am thoroughly enjoying playing Commando despite all the problems I have read about and experienced myself, so if any Commandos out there have a planet that is ripe for the picking when it comes to hunting with the Flamethrower please let me know, or I will have to journey to these strange new worlds with very little info on what to target and what to avoid.

First off, if yer just commando youll have to be careful no matter what planet u venture to, because u have very low defenses. Im sure u know that by now tho. Anyway thats Blah.

Dantooine is a good place for any profession grind really, when I worked on mastering my commando I did seething bol lairs and quenkers because i found they had the lowest resists, in turn they would die faster at a far less loss because of the fire dot. Keep in mind tho Im also TKM so when the seething bols diseased me I could meditate it away so if yer not TKM u should prob stay away from the seething bols and just fight quenkers. A lot of ppl seem to like grinding away with the launcher pistol. I did not find it as fun myself (even tho I had master pistoleer at the time, I just didnt like using it because i couldnt see thru all the smoke it created. It was fun, but to me a bit tedious) Dont know if u know this tho, just saying so if u know im sorry didnt mean to offend.

Uh anyway I got off yer question alittle. As far as planets go to grind Commando, as I said, Dantooine has something for everyone so u should feel right at home there. Im surprised u grinded on correllia, not really much there worth hunting with commando but thats my opinoin, and im not always right so... hehe

Anyway, I know i ramble, but i hope this helps as much as I tried to make it.

Yavin is good but its expensive to go to, so if yer not like some and dont always have money its not always the best choice for a grind just because its expensive to go to. Also, I know on bloodfin, u only find the grinders at the mysterious cave which means u will be leaving alot for rebuffing and such. Also if u do solo missions their, and like i said dont have much money, u wont make much which is strange because its so expensive to fly to. Just my thought on it tho, a lot of variables to consider when going there.

But im not bashing the idea, it is a good one, if u dont mind spending the extra money it is an awesome place to grind.

My Commando grind includes Dant: Savage Quenkers, Endor: Wild Gureks, Talus: Huf Duns, Torts. all give you 2-3K Xp each, butget buffed.

Dantooine is great for commandos; even though my house is on Tat, I practically live on Dantooine, blowing stuff up and setting grauls ablaze.

Dathomir is awesome, too, if you can find some idiot/psycho to drag along to distract the rancors while you burn them to a crisp (I find having a psychotic trigger-happy bounty hunter for a friend is the best distraction available).

I did most of my grinding in Dantooine by killing lots of Quenkers, Huurtons, Piket's and Bols. If you have a combat droid, send him into the masses and kill off the mobs one by one.

I also did alot of grinding at the expense of many many (dead) Stormtroopers. That was fun and it felt constructive.
