Hey All,

I just hit novice commando last night. Only weapon I have is a launcher pistol. Its not too shaby hitting anywhere from 100-350 damage at a speed of 2.8. I noticed that every commando I see is running around wiht their flamethrowers cooking everything in site. How come I haven't seen anyone with Particle Beam Cannons, Rocket Launchers or Acid Rifles. Is something wrong with them? Just wanna make sure I am not gonna invest 40K into a set of weapons that are bugged or useless. I plan on buying a flamethrower tonight just for the massive damage which should give me some sweet paying missions.

Particle Beams and RL are charge weapons, you don't carry them around like others. Right now the HAR isn't much compared to the Flamethrower.

The acid rifle is a bit more pricey than a flamethrower,not as powerfull,and not as cool.

But you can get them sliced to be pretty effective...mine is 404-950...

as for rocket launchers and particle beams,you gotta be pretty rich to wanna spend 15-30k on something you can only use like 30 times.
