Commando Archive

I am a novice commando 4,0,0,0 and am currently grinding for FS experience. I am only getting 3.5k combat exp per Baz kill (350), and i am hearing that everyone else is getting 5k +500 per kill. My template is as follows (Master marksman, master rifleman, commando 4,0,0,0, Novice medic, and some FS stuff. Is it a template thing? I am in a close to full group getting mission difficuty of 99-199 or so. Thanks for any help.

make sure you dont have a heavy weapon equipped and make sure they are giant baznitches the regular ones give about 3.4k and the mutants i think give 4.5k

No reason to be an a-hole about it. He is still a commando even if he use it for FS grinding. Many might start as a grenade grinder but wanting to try out the professions for more since they already done the pre-req.

Can anyone make a sticky post abou this so we can avoid this question being asked over and over again. The current FAQs are all outdated.

In thsi forum there are about 10% useful posts (if evben that high), everything else is either:

- FS grinders asking questions

- Commandos complaing about FS grinder

- Commandos whining about how much we suck and what new weapons commandos should have.

IMO, the real commandos are those who has continued even after all nerfs and found out new ways to play commando. IMO, commando is one of the best high-end pve professions there is. Flamer dots rule!

Hey I'm grinding fs slowly but surely.. But I'm also a master commando and use it to play the game with.. I do quests, dwb, vette, killing stormies! Helping with krayt raids. So you cant hate all fs grinders.. Some of us are playing the proffesion untill we get jedi which maybe quite a few months Heck after I unlock second char I may even do it again because I bet commando will be an awsome proff after CU!

But you are not a FS-Monkey-Glow-Head

Those are the people with commando 4,0,0,0 who are just using it for the combat exp to get there glow sticks and sparkly effects faster.

Unless another elite profession comes by....then kiss your loot goodbye. Anyways, I must respectivelly disagree...currently a Master Swordsman template is one of the best high-end PvE....not only can they do blast damage, they can do it with AP 2 with FAR more DPS than we can. Swordsmen have more defenses than we do overall...and combined with TKM are lethal in PvE. Further add in Mbrawler and fencer defenses, they can solo quite a bit of the game.

Meanwhile...with us commandos, a MC-TKM combo doesn't really even come close...its actually more beneficial for the MC aspect to be dropped if you want to really do very well in high-end PvE.

However, commandos ARE useful in PvE...but we're not the best for High-End stuff....long ago, yeah we were to some extent, but not anymore.
