Acid Rifle is nearly useless. Flamethrower has lower ham costs, higher damage, and a good DOT.
Also, it sounds like you're talking about Combat Medic (which is normally abbreviated "CM")

Don't bother with HARr its really no good in its current state. With the FT you can do dmg even against 100% resist by using the flame DOTs. I would go 4/0/4/0 that gives you the grenade and what little defense we have but Ranged mit 2 will be handy and the FT which of course is our best weapon.

You'll probably regret that when your pet goes down, or someone actually targets YOU instead of your pets.

Ok so about to Dasya go I made Novice CM
Now I am not going to master this. I am going to master Ch first. And stay an MCH. I have calculated this all out adn The highest I can go in CM is two entire skill trees. I am debating whether I should go 0404, 4400, or 0440. Could all of youy give me your opinion?

Who says I do PvP?
Every time I engage a mob, they go after whatever pet I have out. If I attack first. And if It retaliates, my pet(usually on guard) will attack the mob, and the mob will focus on my pet instead.

I used to have that template commando mch. It worked exactly as you say, until the dev's made a change in the logic for MOBs now they will always have a chance at charging right at you and ignoring your pets entirely. Having personal def is always a good idea regardless of whether you do pvp or pve...
Just my 2cents of experience...
