Thread: Built in AoE of commando weapons

Have not tested CU Commando yet (currently MBH/MRM and loving it). But I am a bit curious about the AoE effect. On TCEP3 I tested Proton rifle and it has a radius stat. But I did never manage to hit more than one critter.


Is it that factor controlling the AoE (pretty narrow if that is the case) or is the radius just a "splash effect" and not a cone AoE.

Currently the radius' for the PR and ASL are mixed up (one says it, but doesnt do it...the other vice versa). UI bug I believe. As for AoE, at the moment it *seems* wonky. The day before the CU went live, we got between 10% base/100% elemental and 100% splash damage, but right now on the live version it seems only 10% Base/100% elemental. DoTs help a bit, but this AoE damage isn't entirely useful (I can see us having to control it if it was VERY damaging...but it really isn't)

This kind ofsucks since the AOE can hit the lair and cause a spawn.


This is very painful; I almost killed my guilds hunt group cause of this. We really need to get our hands on some Proton Rifles.
