I am a Master Commando/ Master Creature Handler in live right now and i realized that commandos dont have any specials. But other than that i LOVE Commando/Ch its alot of fun.

nice combination i thought of trying that template too but remeber you still have marksman specilas that will now work with commando weapons as will most of the rifleman, pistoleer, carbineer, bounty hunter or any other ranged profession specials will work with commando. Or at least they did on the tc-ep3 testcenter server.

So...you are saying we have no more Flame SIngle & Flame Cone?? No wonder my hot keys for the specials didn't work in combat...Doh!!!

yes but all other specials from any other ranged profession now work with a flamethrower

with some really fun and exciting diffrences in damages states and effects----just go try pistoleer/commando in pvp on tc-ep3 testcenter at the bluefrogs--you will be suprised at how deceiving it might first be that commando no longer has any specials like flame cone or flame single

T o be honest this new special thing they have going is one the things i discovered that made me decide not to leave

use the marksman specials while holding your flame thrower--they work and now the flamethrower specials still do the dot no matter what special you use with it now in most cases. Just takes some messing around to learn what works. Lol too bad we cant have a smartflamethrower we can group and have attack the enemy under our control from a distance

They got rid of the specials for commando for two reasons:

1. Commando weapons have specials of their own (like rocket launcher default KD or flamethrower DoT)

2. You can now use commando weapons with any ranged attack special out there (Like marksman or smuggler specials)

The result isa great environment for strategy and power.
