They have a test server....they implement changes and patches before they're implemented on the normal servers.......and I'm pretty sure they get reports of things that don't work....

Why do they release broken content? It happens in every MMORPG...but in every MMORPG I've played the patches were monthly so they didn't have as much time to tinker around with stuff. With SWG it seems to be bi-monthly...so that's less of an excuse.

Bleh...just venting...really sick of this game.

Well, from what I get from reading the posts by people who are on the TC, they don't have enough people over there testing. What they need to do is allow people to copy their characters over to the TC like Mythic did on Pendragon for DAoC. This was a huge success on DAoC, as people could go there and try out new patches without having to skill up.

They dont actually listen to the peope on test, there have been numerous posts about problems on the test server, and yet, they patch and fubar everything.

I'm only pistoleer 0021 ( soon 0031) and smuggler pistols 1, but so far i am doing really well? I cna put two bleeds on and then either feign death and kite? The bleeds give me about 800 damage together, and my double tap does round about 350 damage, and i can do it maybe everyone 1.5 seconds....Why is everyone saying pistoleer sucks? I really enjoy it at the moment and am looking forward to stopping shot.........

You're right. Feign Death is a wonderful Pistoleer special. Its absolutely fantastic. OOOOHHH!!! Its not Pistoleer? You mean its Smuggler?You mean Smuggler pistol specials are better than pistoleer? You must be right. Pistoleer is great and works. All the specials are working, including the master level ones. What WERE we thinking?

Try doing your tricks without feign death.

multi works grate i hear and have seen it only hits mobs that are or have you targeted

pmd2 worth less bull make a nice micro /pmd1;/pmd2 and use it you will see good dam

as for no state effects doh your a pistol not a carb grow up

i think if you doge it would hinder your move ment

truth is pistolers are the most used profesion in game atleast from what iv seen and evrey one carys a good pistol with them not evrey one carys a good carb or rifle

im ded tiyerd of hearing the bs of how your broke im almost master and i can dam for dam mach a commando and im not even master yet plzs get a life and grow up

poor devs have to put up with alot of bull that ant true if your going to complian back it up with facts ensted of bull

• Disarming shot 1 and 2 are worthless. -More than agree.
  
• Multi target Pistol shot is worthless. -/nod
  
• Pistol Melee Defense 2 is worthless. -Absolutely
  
• No State effects on specials. -Yeah, wth?
  
• Dodge Animation hinders movement -Yes, this kills me too often.
  

Thumbs up. Also point blank single 2 and area 2 are kinda worthless. But wedo okaywith the 4 moves that actually work.

do they even have schools where you live?

pistoleer owns. Dodge owns, fan shot owns, stopping shot owns, and the defenses own.... whats to complain about

Okay, aside from the spelling...

Everything Vandar said is correct. Pistoleer (By itself) is useless. Only when mixed with smuggler or BH pistol is it a good choice to have. It is not a stand-alone profession. Rifleman are now up to par. They should not be nerfed. TKA's are up to par. They should not be nerfed. Commando's are up to par. They should not be nerfed.

Everything else needs to be fixed. Pistoleer is one of them.

LOL its great, three working professions in the entire game.
