Hmm... my LP was horrible pre-CU and now it's great. Same with my 2 FT's and my PvE armor. Of course my really expensive PvP armor is now equivalent to pre-CU chitin.

What weapon are suppose to use get move up the ranks such as flame???

all the weapons i see req. higher skills
