Thread: death by flame?
YES. I just went back in and tested it again, and it is happening...thought something was funny last night when I first noticed it.
You shoot them, you see the flame animation on them, they 'incap' and hop right back up...take burn dmg, incap, repeat....but don't die...you have to special them again (only way I've found to perma-death one).
Kind of annoying in multiple-target situations...you think the one is dead, move on to the next one, and he's back up shooting at you...

DoTs no longer kill *writes that on the screen in marker*

DOTs may not kill but should'nt the damage taken from getting hit by a FT still kill?
the weird thing in this case is that i have no problem incaping people in PvP. its only PVE stuff that has this issue.
High end creatures don't just not die.. they pop up with a pile of extra health
Was figthing a Gorax and didn't chagne to a pistol soon enough and the thing popped up with more ham then i could take out in 3 more shots and i got the snot beat outta me because of it
also i noticed that im not getting any where near the damage i used to put out with using flamestrike 2 as i am with the specials that i use now

I have seen Creatures that I have hit with AoE Flame from my Plasma Flame Thrower and they have regenerated to full health while still on on Fire. I have a Screen Cap of a Durni doing that to
