Doesnt anyone else find the speed of special moves a bit insane. I mean they lock you up for 8 to 10 seconds of doing nothing but getting your ass handed to you. Holy crap if you miss thats it you might as well start running. Im saying it how it is unless they are reduced or REALLLY jacked up they will be garbage to any other weapon out there.

Any commando who picks up smuggler or pistoleer will not even bother using these attacks in their current state. At least one who knows better.

No kidding... it dragged. I was using the FT flame single 1, and it took forever to get the 2nd special to work. The highest damage I got out of it was at 875.

But the sad thing was I was only able to use that flame single 1 special at melee range!!!
That sucks!!! Give it at least a range of max 20 or something.

Sad sad sad... Ahhh well... At least the LP is doing me some good service.

*raises hand*

I have a question: did anyone try something silly, like FL with a special move then switch to a non-commando weapon like a carbine/pistol or some such silliness? Does the (lets say) Scout Pistol start firing after the FULL delay of the spec move?

Just a silly thought...

Yep, it made me wait for the whole move.

I thought the same thing, drop the dot special move. Switch to pistol etc. No it makes you wait the full time. I tried reattacking with the pistol or trying another special move. Nope it makes you sit getting your ass kicked.

That is truely messed then. If it's not supposed to be the "primary" attack, just a finisher, the mob will finish me first. I can see using the same weapon would take time but we HAVE to get something in the mean time. Can't we even punch it in the nose till the time is up????

throw us a bone here

Ya, I would go for letting us do that. Use the special then switch to something else.
