Im sure this has been asked a thousand time but...

I have flame one and can level up again.

Should i go with heavy weapons, acid rifle or wait and get flame 2 for my next level?

as of right now, Flame 2

Here's what I've been doing so far...and it is working great for me...

Concentrate on the flame tree first...until you hit flame3 you are going to suck, missing the majority of the time...why go flame1 and acid1 and suck on 2 weapons....once you hit flame4 you'll hit alot more, plus you'll have flamesingle2 (which is great btw)...Since 3 of the skill trees use the same Heavy Weapons XP, use the flame thrower with flamesingle2 to rack up the xp killing bigger game (got enough xp last night to take care of almost 2 levels of the Heavy Weapons tree)...

It's kind of sad to say...but you could pretty much finish off the whole Commandoprofession in decent time using just the Flame Thrower (maybe the Launcher Pistol to kick start the xp while you suck on the FT)...

yah, go up the flame tree and work from there, thats what most people do. Of course I did come across that one guy who was determined that he was going up the acid rifle tree first...

i just made flame 3 today an di have noticed a much better difference in FT performance. For example, i need herb. meat to make my meds, well i liek to hunt huf duns to ge teh meat. With FT 1 i couldn't kill duns fast enough before they go me since they are pack creatures (pack means if you attack one, more than one attacks back). Today when i got FT3, with teh better accuracy mod and speed, i was dropping duns left and right and at teh same tiem racking up awesome xp. i got 40k xp in 15 minutes! So yes do FT tree first.
