Commando: A useful profession or a nerfed profession?
I just picked up Novice Commando, and with Overcharge Shot 2, (with a FT) i can easily do 2k-4k. I know that the HAR is useless, and you spend 1500c a shot with the Rocket Launchers and such, so is it worth doing the profession?
I am currently trying TKA/Commando, and if I dont like it, I'm going to do TKA/Doctor. But can anyone help me with the uses in PvP and PvE? I mean, Commandos CAN still PvP, but their not as good. But mixed with TKA I can deal out good PvP and PvE. Already I can take out a ton of stuff by using Overcharge Shot II, and then spamming TK skills. Will this get better or worse?

Honestly it depends. We are gods among PvE...As long as the mob doesn't have heat resist or armor. Unfortunately that means we can't hunt on some of the stronger planets. For example, we can't scratch nightsisters, rancors, or rept fliers on Dathomir. And we're gimped completely and totally in PVP, so if that's what you're going for don't even bother.

Umm, we can kill Quenkers pretty fast.
Personally, I'd recomend picking up another ranged profession to complement you close-range skills with TKA.

Quenker killing speed = UBER. Our new motto should be "Commando: pwn yourself a quenker!"
