Do the defenses still stack? If I were to get the precision line of TKA, would all those mods work for me while I'm using my flamethrower?

If not, why do we even bother? I'm just realizing how very defenseless Commandos really are...

Defences currently stack, soon they won't. That means while you're holding a heavy weapon you get none of the defences from TKA or any other profession for that matter. No protections against blind, intimidation, posture down ect.. However the thing to remember is that commando isn't a tank, not designed to at the moment and never will be which is why we don't have masses of defences. But with this new system making defence and offence skill mods only apply to within each profession you can expect to see commando's getting some defences now.
