Thread: What weapons is a commando to use in PVP

I do a lot of GCW fighting, base attacks and defenses, so in a sense a lot of PVP. I'm a master commando/TKA.
Since the patch that reduced the DOT in around 10 separate battles I have gotten zero encaps by using a flamethrower.
Most people being buffed I guess can just regen over the flame dot. I'm not sure why how only the fact numbers tell the tale. Zero encaps/db in 10 fights never happens.
I'm not trying to say anything about the patch in this post. The question I would like to ask is > What weapon is a commando suppose to use, in the game as it stands today. Not futures or after the next patch. Whatam I suppose to do today?
Granades - Ineffective, miss to much, hit yourself and others
HW - ok against fixed targets not good on people.
FT - Well, after the fix seems ineffective to me.
AR - Same as the FT with no DOT and even slower.
I hate to say it butmy answer, after thinking about it was none of the above. I need to get another class to have an effective pvp attack. Help me am I misssing some feature of the class that I've failed to use all these months? Did something get fixed and I miss it?
I've posted this serveral times. Changing the flamethrower dot without fixing the other weapons takes away any our only effective weapon. We now have at least 3 complete columns of in-effective weapons in PVP.

well since your a tka knock them down and then dissy them. Then take out your god of all weapons the mightiy LP and lag them off the sever or make them crash there game lol then you win the battle. They cant react because of the lag lol.
Instead of callingit alauncher pistol instead call it a lag pistol lol

there isn't anything we can use in PvP, the devs are retards and nerfed everything.

I couldnt tell you the last time I tried using the FT (or any other Commando weapon) in PvP...I think, maybe once, in about the last 30 or 40 skirmishes? I typically use my trusty Republic Blaster with my pistoleer/smuggler skills, and keep the Master Commando tag there to make them underestimate me
