Agreed.
I'm a 0/0/4/0 Commando, became a Master Rifleman yesterday...haven't touched my flamethrower since. I'm amazed how powerful and how much the professions WORKS...rifleman is what commandos should be, with the heavy weapons.

I think you should post this in other combat profession forums to tell them straight up. Hell half of the people who get killed by a cammando is either not paying attention or is stupid enough to go to combat with out armor. I think flame damage is the worst kind out there and it should be. If you look at it realistically if you get shot with a high power rifle or even with a pistol you eith die instantly or you suffer for a while until death. But with a flame thrower which attacks the whole body is the most distructive. And all this crap about tumbling and fire extugisher is crap. Im sorry but naplam will not be put out by any of these.
i whole heartedly agree with this
oh and another thing why in the hell do we miss. It boogles my mind. Ok gives this a thought if you give a pistol or a rifle or even a carbine to a person and say to them in realistic terms hit that moving target with only 5 shots. Do you think that all five shots would hit? And then switch the gun with a flame thrower that has an area affect attack and then tell them to hit the target. Do you think the burst of naplam would hit the target or not?
I ask these question becasue i want to know who thought that cammando should have the worst accuracy. I mean a FLAME THROWER shouldnt need acc its a freaking area affect weapon.
Here's a FAQ on aiming a flame thrower.
1. Point
2. Spray
3. Then reapply rules one and two until you get you desire affect.
4. Then let cool for about a day.
Dokken, the flame dot doesn't do **edit** anymore. That was a pre patch issue which is no longer valid due to the amount of wounds recieved from the dot being directly proportional to the amount of damage the dot causes.
For those of you with no reading comprehension, this is how the wounding works:
lots of damage = lots of wounds
little damage = few wounds.
Since I have yet to see my own dot tick for more than 500 (pve not pvp) compared to the 1500 I got prepatch, the wounds are negligable.
On another note, where'd all these new guys come from and how did they get yellow names?
