I just hit Master Commando tonight. Took me a while, with me on-again off-again playing habits, but I made it none the less.

And now that I have my Commando badge and have eliminated Commando as a holocron possibility, I've dropped the entire profession.

With only one workable tree, and no fixes in sight, I can't justify spending skill points on Master Commando. I'm already a Master Smuggler, so I'm planning to take up Pistoleer next.

It was fun, had some good times, and the flamethrower is a powerhouse even after the nerf. But it's time to move on to greener pastures.

It is, but not until publish 9 or 10 at least. Plus, you're progress is supposed to carry over (not sure if proffessions mastered after silent holo will count though... at the very least you get some nifty badges.)

I've heard rumours, but not much else about holos being scrapped.

I wonder what the devs have up their sleaves if that proves true?

On the other hand, some christmas gift those holos made, if they're obsolete not even six months later.
