Im in the process of getting one made.

Best bet is to buy the Krayt tissues serparetly..and if you are lucky buy a form fitted stock aswell as this could reduce the FT's speed by -0.5 apparently.

Then find a friendly master weaponsmith who uses decent materials and has good FT's already and ask for the custom order to be made.

What are the stats on a good krayt flamer? and is it really worth the money to buy one? would it be more efficient to just buy ten flamers and have them all sliced, hoping for a good speed or dmg slice?

You will need around 7 tissues, and tissues have differentiating stats. If you go for a standard set of tissues (+30 dmg, -0.3 spd) then your looking at 100k a piece. After that it does from there, next stop is generally around a million fora set of higher quality tissues.

Unless they're good speed tissues, you won't see as much of a difference as you would in a lower damage and faster weapon. Just look at max damage. How much difference is there between 840 dmg and 870? That's a 3.5% increase. When you take a Republic blaster from 200 to 230 dmg you gain 15% to the dmg. If you have the money to throw away, then i guess it's an ok thing to do. I'd suggest just spending the money on a pre-nerf kraytfwg5 or Scout so you have a weapon you can rely on the next time they nerf the thrower.

Yeah, its just not worth it. Or spend that money on... more flamers... get them all sliced, and hope for a 40%

I made a few the other day.

Here are some stats all unsliced

899 damage 3.7 speed

927 damage 4.2 speed

935 damage 4.7 speed

my stardard ones are:

844 damage 4.7 speed

874 damage 5.2 speed (with a stock)

Krayt flamer I just made for myself with stock and 79 dmg -.78 speed tissues and a 29% speed slice = 2.5 910...yum

My current Krayt flamer is 2.7 speed and about 920 max damage. This cost 1.5m to have made and had a 23% speed slice.

Im in the process of getting some -1.5 speed tissues, which with -0.5 stock will give me a flamethrower with the same stats as above...but UNSLICED.
