Who has an address for an on-line gaming dictionary?
Being new to online gaming I see many word, item names, descriptions (whatever) tha I have absolutly know idea what the term means.
I probably don't want to know what many of them mean but...
WHAT DEOS DOT ZERGING mean?
(BTW I know some people have outstanding abilities but my spelling ability is not only not standing at all, but it issquatting in the corner trying not to be noticed)

sry but the above is a bit incorrect.
'Zerging' is a term that comes over from another online game, Dark Age of Camelot.
Zerging is basically a bunch of people who group up or travel together and go around killing other players like a mob.
The main 'feature' of a zerg is they move with large numbers, kill anything they can kill and move on to the next spot, rinse and repeat.
a blitzkrieg mob is what a 'zerg' is.
in SWG it has taken on the form of players doing the above but with more long-lasting effects. That is, they kill players but they also disease and poison them so if the players get a doctor to revive them the disease/poison will keep on hurting them.

Actually, the term Zerg comes from Starcraft, a real time stratgey game which had a species, the Zerg, which were basically oversized worms that could multiply like crazy. You would then overwhelm an opponent by throwing an insane number of units that they couldn't kill fast enough.

Dot Zerging is when people get killed then run out of the cloner unbuffed, sticking dots on as many people as possible before they get killed again. Rinse and Repeat until the enemy is dead or leaves. This is was usually done by CM's but it's popularity as a tactic has been reduced since poision/disease buff were introduced..
