I was just wondering what the fastest HAR is that you have seen. I look at my HAR and I would love to use it. However there is just so many donwsides to it. It uses more HAM, but that can be offset with buffs. The damage is not as high as a Flame thrower but all in all is still pretty high. The only problem is the speed is so slow. Now I am not saying is has to be 2.3 like a flame thrower but has anyone seen any around a 3.0 speed sliced? If I could get one that was below 4.0 speed and still had over 700 max damage it might be worth using just for the acid type damage. It doesn't even have to leave a DOT to be somewhat useful.

best i have found so far on bria is 3.7 spd (sliced) 750 max dam with 41% woundage,

If the HAR were more useful, then you may have more weaponsmiths trying to make faster ones with enhanced commponents, but atm the HAR imo isn't really that practical. You can get better and faster acid weapons with AP (the HAR has no AP!!!), but since there is discussion tha AP is going the way of the dodo, it won't matter later.

What other profession skills do you have? If you have rifleman go with the disrupter I belive, or if you have smuggler or pistoller skills go with the dx2.

I just like the way the HAR looks. It is a pretty cool looking gun. Plus I the HAR specials look pretty cool too. But no I do not have rifleman, pistoleer either. I am commando, with some SL and medic.

I have a 4.5 by shug waiting for a slice. I hope it comes out a speed slice. I have another is 3.5 speed slice, but the accuracy is not good.

I don't know what it is about the HAR, but I just don't like it. I'm thinking that you could do more damage over time with another acid weapon.

Where did you get that. Or better yet what did you do to get one made like that. Something like that is worth using. I know it is not AP or DOT. But lay down a few flame dots then switch over when going against things with low acid resist.

All my stuff is handcrafted...I loathe those uber lootdropped weapons...they shouldn't be in this game....

I don't remember 100% correct but the HAR was made with

-Imp stock

-speedy krayt tissue (-0.5 +42 or so I think, maybe a bit faster)

-looted barrel (slower and less damage than an advanced crafted barrel, but about 15-20 more accuracy)

-fully accuracy experimented scope

it got a mediocre speedslice.

I had an LLC made with speedier tissue (-0.89), came out 3s pre-slice, 2s post slice

An Acid single2 will hit from anywhere50 to 450, depending on the armor of the subject, and if they're KD or not (so 50-ish vs 90 base armor, 450-ish vs 66 base +KD...not hard numbers..it's been a while since I whipped it out)
