I come to you in shame. From day 1 on SWG, a long 285 days ago, I have been master commando and proudly charged into combat to lay my meager DoT and then die. But no any more. I have gone the way of the templater and dropped to commando 4/4/4/0. Why you may ask? For a bunch of shoddy state defenses from pistoleer 0040. I humbly beg your forgiveness.

Oh, and by the way, it is TRULY an odd feeling to go into combat and not be KD'd or Dizzy'd on every single attack.

Honestly I see nothing wrong in what you've done...First and foremost you need to do what will bring you the most fun in this game...and right now we all know that Master Commando is not what it should be. That's why I love the fact that the Devs are planning a Skill Pt reallocation when the CU finally hits. Before that news a lot of us were holding onto our Master Commando and just waiting...and waiting...and waiting...but the Skill Pt reallocation allows any of us to go try something else while we wait with the knowledge that when the CU hits we can easily and quickly return to the Profession we love the most.

I haven't given up my Master Commando yet, but I also have multiple accounts and different characters on different servers so I've been able to play with other templates...Anyone currently a Master Commando who isn't enjoying the game SHOULD try other things knowing that you'll get that free pass when the CU finally hits (just make sure you maintain a full template with as many skill points spent as possible...it's popular belief that the reallocation will be pt for pt spent).

Deep down, no matter where any of us go, we know that we carry Commando in our hearts...Diehard Commandos Die Hard!

Do now feel bad for hwat you have done, but to learn from your decisions in life.

I mean look at me, I gave up master commando to build starships and droids for those ships.

/hangs head in sad disbelief

But fear not, the good thing about this game is that you can always kill up points and reuse them again to get a mastery of a profession.

So Gavin, let me see if I understand this right...once CU hits (6 years doen the road or so) players will be able to take the SP they have used now (mine is 249/250) and reallociate them into any profession template they want? So anyone who is say master Artisan, DE, WS, and merchant can completely scrap their template and go full combat without having to grind the XP?? Come on 6 year time frame!!!

TH said that only professions directly effected by the CURB will be allowed to reallocate.

Not to sure how many use the Acid anyway?? I dont use it much... Just curious

Its alll good man.

TKA is a nice combo..

But now BH isnt bad either

I think they are jsut too slow with the lack of mods we get at the end. But i don't know, only been commando fro 4 days,

My alt love his HAR, specially when he come accross high heat high resist mobs which usually have low acid resists. Some stormtroopers come with bookoo heat resists adn low acid resists. My HAR slices thru them like knife thru butter. Granted is not a great weapon, but it has its uses.
