I think this has been mentioned before, but how did the devs convert the weapons? Before the CU I had a flamer with an attack speed of 2.4. Now, since the damage wasn't as high, it is worse than some of my back up flamers. They had less speed but slightly more damage. Now they are way better than my fast one is. But, on the good side, I had a godly acid rifle that turned out pretty good.
