With the new particle slider and the cryptic patch notes for TC about particle effects on some of the Commando weapons, is there a way to filter out the blinding smoke and explosions of the Launcher pistol on TC now?

I ask this because I get cursed out everytime I blind my entire group with the Launcher pistols smoke and explosions. I am hoping that these effects can now be filtered out with the new particle slider.
