Commando Archive

So...after all the hard work, all the struggle, all the gnorts sending us to the cloning center, all the chefs whooping us in PvP - etc, etc, ad nauseum.

We finally look to be getting somewhere and to become something like what we are meant to be. This is good! Smiles are beginning to grow on our careworn faces!

And then some twit with 3 atsts in his pocket and a dislike for being beaten in PvP shouts for a nerf. 9 pages so far!

What kinda brasses me off the most is that riflemen are screaming loud too. Im a rifleman, but a commando first andit makes me feel kinda uncomfortable sitting on that fence.

Now watch what happens.....

Every smack-talking jerk that ever threw a smirk at commandos is going to jump on the wagon shouting "ooh, ooh...let ME be Uber too!"

Bah!

Lets keep our pride lads and lasses, dont sink to there level.

Bah riflemen, pistoleers, and carbineers have no business screaming to nerf Commandos because we are more powerful than them because we have worked a LOT harder to become commandos and good ones at that. I don't think the Devs will be swinging the nerf bat at us too hard, as we've taken a lot of grief and I think everyone's going to have to realize Commandos are here to stay.

Destroyer, LOL, us Bounty Hunters have been trying to use that argument for 2 months. The result? Nerfed 6 times (!) so far.

I'm glad things are starting to be ironed out properly though, this is an excellent fix from DEV in my opinion.

Yeah but BHs are worse than smugglers with their KDs My only beef with BHs, though, is that I have only ever found one actually doing a mission. They just think they're another combat class like Commandos whereas they should be much more concerned with their own line of work.

I've been trying to do missions, they are impossible now. That's why it's rare to see them.

Some fixes coming, nothing critical as far as actually FIXING us permanently but some things. The truth is, there is nothing else to do BUT PvP if the rest of your profession is broken LOL!

exactly you see i was one of the first BHs on Eclipse....and I gotta tell you aside from the really nice weapon speeds and KD attacks the profession sucks totally. The whole thing was made in a week in beta and not tested the right way. After a month as playing as a BH i realized it will never be fixed the way we want it to be so i gave it up and started down the HARD path of becomming a Commando. Let me tell you this it was not easy getting all that unarmed with no vibros, took me along time and many many deaths later iam now a Commando with 2 1 1 0 . Iam gonna start gringing again today so i can get master in time of that patch.

I concur with Destroyer. Nerfs will be a while away, because the Devs are going to focus on the other classes before taking another look. It is so funny how predictable these boards become. We suffer for an entire month with a completely unplayable class, have everyone chime in with support, and then some of those same supporters either go silent or worse complain.

Keep it up whiners of the Commando class. If you get your way, the game will become nothing more than laser tag.
