Commando Archive

I am currently woirking my way up to Commando, about 3/4 through Marksman/Scout and 1/2 through unarmed. What I was wondering though, since I just changed my career path from Ranger to Commando is what armor I should be using? I currently have Mabari weave boots,legs,chestplate and gloves, should I stay with this until I can save 300K for a set of composite or get something else. Thanks for any input.

I would recomend high resist composite, due to the fact that commandos have long timers for our specials and are able to deal out pretty decent damage with our regular attacks (flame and HAR). However it does take quite a few boxes in either of those trees before we start to hit accurately.

What I would do is a sub-suit thing. I was thinking of Ubese boots and gloves with Tantel chest and thats it. This looks cool and gives you almost 50% damage. In PVP though I'd suggest investing in a shield generater too Mabari I don't think is the best and composite is busted as far as I'm concerned. Too heavy. Your better off with Padded or Ubese armor I think, if you want full suit anyway.

Well-made composite gloves - they currently are the least bugged piece of composite if my information is correct. A helmet (probably composite) with a very high energy resist in particular; acid resist (for some reason I hear thescatter pistol does acid damage?)is also good. Padded chest and legs. Padded boots optional but recommended. This gives you the most protection against PvP attack for the least HAM encumberance.

In PvE I'd remove the helmet and maybe chest piece unless I was directly tanking my opponent.

You really want to protect your head against energy and scatter pistol damage in PvP.

It really depends on what you ae going ot be hit by... if your targets are doing kentic get ubese layered... it offers the best Manbari(sp) offers the best energy restiances ... like weapons ... have it depend on your enimie... it is costly but works well!
