I got Flame single 2 tonight and thought i would hit the fort to test out my new special. I wasnt buffed so i didnt think i would spend a long time there, well i was wrong. I was taking down Raiders and Commoners with one hit from the flame. I could take down the chiefs in 2, warlordswere around3-4 shots. I was grouped, but these weresoloed. Honestly, i felt like i was "stealing" xp from the group.

This is a huge change from my swordsman days. If i wasnt buffed and i went into the fort i was 100% sure of hitting the cloner (especially against warlords, i dont like getting near them, CoB has saved me a few times though).

I was proud to be a commando.

To all the people who are asking about Quick Xp. There is no such thing!

How long til you hit master, by that experience?

I was using a 3.5 speed flamer there recently.

The Warlords/Chiefs/Captains were highly resistant to fire, and only one in 5 shots would produce full damage... I didnt end up figuring out what was wrong but every now and then a special would land for near full damage and the other specials were maybe 10% damage (they would burn for more than I hit them for).

I'm going to go back and KD then Flamesingle2 and see what happens.

last night i relived my glory days at the fort...its been since july/august ive been to the fort...took 2 straight weeks of groups there..lvled novice and more, got 200k unarmed etc etc

Was my favorite grind for commando xp cuz of raider fire...before the FT got a boost on specials, my best ever dmg was against a raider..9k dmg! now..i can get up to 14k on a CHIEF! Yes i actually KDed a chief ( was lvling tka yesterday..almost done too..gonna have some nice defenses for once with MC and Master Pistol Tech) and ONE SHOT it from my FT...hehe was fun

What dmg flamethrower where you using for the 14k dmg hit, I remember hitting a kryat lair for about 25k dmg back when it was bugged where it did kenetic dmg also or something. I always perfer speed ft over dmg. Just my personal opinion,i like to shoot twice as fast and hit for more in general each 18 seconds.

MMM b4 nerfed? when it was bugged? mabye im not experiencing any abnormal, but rancor missions tonight I was doing 32k, 34k, 36k, to the lair nearly every FS1. I cannot imagine FS2. Proud to be a commando =).
