Hello all,

thanks for the informative site and the well written guides I shall put them all to good use.

I am looking to become a Commando - not for the grind but just as I feel they may have a use in the next patch or two so in early and see if I like it. Was toying with marrying it up with Master Rifle just because I like the thought of it to be honest.

So the questions the guides and such are all well and good but is there any cutting edge info I need to know - stuff that may not have yet been incorporated into the guides ?

Anyone tried the Commando riflemen combo are they compatible ?

At this point the best template is commando, TKA, some pistoleer. This could be contested by many. This is what works for me. The pistol helps alot for that running in for the kill with your launcher and now my fav the tangle pistol. then upon contact with target TKA knock down. and then its time for a good ol BBQ with flameshot2 or cone2 if he has some friends with him. That usually does the trick. Keep in mind this is generaly for PVP. With that said there are some items you will want to have..

Armor: a good set 50% and above. Helmut make sure you have some good stun protection on there. The rest kenetic and heat. thats right nothings more embarasing than a commando getting toasted by another commando.. you should know better.. Add some deffence against fire, poison, knockdown and dizzy attachments to the set and you can own the fight. A good bio-eng shirt and belt with those deffences would be good as well. PVP armor tip... only use this for pvp and use different armor for everyday use. Store your pvp armor in your droid item storage till you need it. that way it doesnt degrade when you get sent to clone on those hunting trips.

Food: now i have been playing with food for a couple days right now so i dont remember the names atm so i will explain the best i can and hopfully someone will add to this thread with the right names.. Synth steak for deffence against damage.. And i believe it strats with a T its food and i found some that has a 86% protection from KD. Man we had fun testing this stuff and yeah it worked. TKA's love to knock you down now you can laugh at them. there are alot of other options with food and it depends on what you think you are going up against. Hopefull someone will add more to this thread with ideas for food.

PVE your pretty much fine with master commando and a friend to back you up.

Have fun the prof is broken for the most part but nothing feels better than watching the flames on thier shoulders and they go down for the count. I love it hopefully they will stop nerfing it and fix it. Till then this is what works best for me.

man sorry for rubbing it in with the armor... I sympathise for the wookiee race.. Then food is the real answer here. I will log on in a bit and get you the full info on what we tested there was some great stuff for fire and poison as well that would work in PVP.
