I have 2 sliced flamethrowers:
4.8 speed 544-1051 damage
3.8 speed 436-831 damage
which should I use?
I was bummed when I discovered you can't use power-ups on flamethrowers.... what a crock!
Only 0-0-2-0 Commando so far.... when I get to FT 3... I'll start using it.

For the Flamethrower, you want SPEED!!!
As much speed as possible!
And I used the Flamethrower after I got Flame1
You /kneel and /aim before you fire /flamesingle1 and you shouldn't miss very often.

go for damage...you get speed modifiers as you go up commando, and you can also get skill tapes for heavy weapon speed and accuracy...go for the damage sliced weapons. there is a speed cap anyway, and you'll probably hit it with the master speed bonuses and skill tapes, so you should get your weapons sliced for damage.

I think it is really a preference on how you play. It also depends on what you are fighting really. Personally, I like speed just because even at master I tend to miss and like to get another shot in before I am about to go down.

The only tapes Commandos can use are "Thrown Weapon" tapes. "Heavy Weapon" ones are useless. I saw a +25 Heavy Weapon Speed once. I nearly cried
