Commando Archive

Well, after 8 months of master commando....holding out for that ever so elusive combat balance, it's time to hang up my flame thrower. I suppose i'll take the HAR and consumables out of the trash bin and put them up next to it just for the novelty. It was fun while it lasted, but it's tough continuing a profession that's broken. We've been through the nerfs, why I have no idea...but I do realize that being a commando can only get better in the future, who knows when that will be though.

The one thing i've discovered with this profession is that it is only truly great, when you have another elite combat mastery to back it up. Such as pistoleer, which is the only reason my launcher ever got used. Or if you take up tkm, or swordsman. But either way, with all those masteries, I found myself sucking up so much skill points, it wasn't worth it.

I do admit, I will miss carrying around that truly uber flame thrower....and I will miss this profession. It was fun while it lasted. Maybe once all the combat professions are balanced... *cough*....i'll be back, but until then, everyone keep the burn on for me.
