That's not too bad. Most of the 1100+ damge FT"s I've seen have much higher speed (in the slower sense.)

Am I the only commando that's never been able to get his grubby paws on an 1100+ flamer?
Out ofthe dozen flamers I've had, none were that high unsliced, and all but one got speed slices. My one damage slice one still came out to be a piddly 1079 max.
I think that all the weaponsmiths, smugglers, and the Force have formed a conspiracy against me...

dont worry rybushi i am a commando and i havent gotten my hands on a 1100+ flamethrower. Mine is 3.7 417-822

I got a really decently balanced one. 3.8 speed 494-994
Works like a charm farming that faction!

i have 3 which are 1100 + in damage nice dam slices

sorry to set off a jeolousy thread here =)... I was just really excited cause I got one of these as a slicing tip and was wondering if it was good enough that I should go for Commando.

If you're not looking for one that's 1100 base stats, then it's not too hard to get one.
An 850 max damage FT with a 30% damage slice will hit 1105 max damage.
With that in mind, it's simply a case of throwing money at it and hoping to get lucky.
Personally, I think you'd be better off with a Speed Slice, given the Professions low Speed bonus.

Every flamer I owned and sliced myself, I've always gotten crappy 16% speed slices...each and every time...
Only 2 flamers ive ever owned that had damage slices/good speed slices/etc were 2 that i got for free....
For my wedding: 4.5 spd 600ish-1100ish
For being a guild leader (free gift!!): 3.4 spd 506-956 <----What I use now! hehe 
So dont feel bad...
