How do you all feel about :....
Shotgun
High Damage, High Delay
Close Range Weapon
Armor Piercing Medium
Stun Damage

There already is a "shotgun" go look at the EE3 carbine. Area effect, heat damage.
Personally I would rather see real heavy weapons... Minigun, Automatic Grenade Launcher, Rail Gun, etc.
Stuff that causes opponents on the fireld of battle to go "Oh SH*T!!! a Commando!" and run for cover.

Yeah would be cool, but I still say if we want another weapon we should go for an assault rifle that fires fast and gives us range.. enough closeup slow firing stuff, we got plenty of that.
But your point is well made... we need more and better weapons.
A rifleman.. Carabineer.. pistoleer.. swordsman...fencer..pikeman..BH can solo Lord Nyax..
Me with Commando and TKM can technically solo it.. but its dang hard and I use alot of good food to make it work.. whilst the above mentioned careers all waste Nyax in minuttes.. due to speed and range.. also that they got penetration.. something we dont

AGL would be too strong.
Minigun. Ill go with that!!!! That would be awesome. Miniguns for Commandos!

I.E, the underslung carbine.
Starnick is supposed to be fighting tooth and nail to get that gun for us. If he should fail...well, I found a lovely little army surplus store in Nashville selling a German Panzershreck rocket launcher, and I can track SOE to their evil base of operations...

Seriously though, I would like to see some of these:
Minigun(yes, the underslung carbine): Med-High Damage, High Speed, Short-Medium Range (poor accuracy at long range)
Automatic Grenade Launcher(Ammo using[see below]): Damage based on Grenade Type(see below), Medium Speed, Medium- Long Range(poor accuracy at short range)
Rail Gun (Gauss Rifle): Extreme Damage, Slow Speed(recharge time), Long Range
Assault Cannon (ala Panther Assault cannon in Shadowrun): High Damage, Medium Speed, Medium/Long Range.
For Consumable Weapons:
The weapon now degrades as a normal weapon, can be sliced.
Instead of the weapon having limited shots then "poofing", weaponsmiths make ammo magazines/clips that are consumable and can be reloaded similar to the missle launchers for ships. Reloading takes as long as the weapon switch delay.
Different damage types/rates can be crafted and used, similar to current grenades.
Just some ideas.
Oh yeah, and a Tank.

Anyway, they've said that the underslug carbine takes like 20-some-odd animations, and won't get in the CU. The trick is to make sure that they don't forget about it after the CU.

All these ideas sound great!
personally I would like a shotgun, maybe make it like the scatter pistol in its special effects and have a special where you can shoot both barrels at once! *boom*!
Minigun is my favorite though =)

In the paper game there was a gun called a Deck Sweeper. It was a stun damage shot gun. had a heavy damage with area attack.
While playing with it, thru some crappy roles, i caused mine to blow up in my hands. Was a really sucky role, but knocked out every one in the room it went off in.
