Thread: The Ink rifle.

Okay, there was some "subtle" hinting by a certain individual that this is a new Commando Weapon... thoughts?
Personally, I feel it's ugly as sin, BUT, one thing stood out while looking at it. It's a sword. The handle, and wavy blade on it, it all screams gun + melee weapon. Continuing along this line, perhaps Commando's melee requirement will finally have some grounds beyond the melee range of the specials. Also, since this thing is called an Ink rifle, it's safe to assume it sprays/squirts some sort of ink out of it. This would be in keeping with the HAR/Flamer. The Cone/Single deal could easily be applied to something that sprayed some sort of Toxic Ink. So the envisionment I'm left with is, spray them down with Ink, then run up and start beating them to death with the rifle...

The "Ink" Rifle? Maybe somebody took "The pen is mightier than the sword" too seriously...

That reminds me of that one weapon in one of the Final Fantasy games, i forgot which one

And the other best part? There is no resistance to "Ink" so everything will be vulnerable! LOL

I loved the main charactures revolver gunblade. Wanted one of my own when i first saw it. yeah, it was FF8

vulnerable to a substance that at the very worst would taste bad, maybe make your eyes sting a bit, and would make a nasty stain your armor.

Maybe at master we can use it to draw pictures on our foes from 64m out...
At novice it'd just be an ink blot.

This briars up an interesting point, what kind of damage does ink do. It its anew commando gun, not blast, heat, or acid. Betting not elect. or cold... I give up...

Anyone remember the 'Ion Painter' from Unreal Tournament 2k3 that "tagged" a target for the orbital Ion Satellite?
*super-wide grin* Now THAT would be a smooth way for Commandos to take out a base.
*Note - I have no idea what the Ink Rifle really does... this is just what first came to mind when I heard the name*
