Icouldn't drop Commando even if I wanted to, but right now paying 15 dollars a month is pointless. I want to suspend my account for until the CURB hits, but I don't want to lose my Master commando. It took me almost3 months to bring him to master and I'll be Damned if I just let him die.

So here is my question, can I 'cancel' my account without canceling it? I think I heard somewhere you have to buy a month every 4 months or something to keep your chars from getting cleaned out of the systembut I'm not sure if that's true or not. Any help wound be appreciated.

Also, a suggestion. I know this is unlikely, but what if we could get every commando to suspend their account in the same way? I mean every single person that is unhappy with the commando profession (so, everyone but the people who get their pvp rating up by killing us) to stop paying, all at once.

I think that might be something along the lines of a "wake-up call". Or at least, the best we can give.

That aside, can someone just tell me how I can wait it off until the CURB

As far as i know, they are supposed to purge innactive accounts every 6 months...so if you suspended the account then you would have 6 months to buy another month before the chars were wiped.

With all the people that have been leaving recently though I somehow doubt they are too hot on the idea of purging right now. They are trying to get people back in the game

I believe it is as follows:

If you cancel your account, you have 90 days to reactive it before your character and all their possesions are deleted from the system. As for the purge, I think that has yet to happen, even though they say that it will.

(Had 2 friends canel accounts, they were told 90 days they will still be there)

At this time there is no purge on characters or items.

Unfortunately there will be, we do not know exactly when however. Check out the PA Forums for more information concerning the purges, Rothin put together a bit of a FAQ on the subject.
