Im a WS, and when crafting flamethrowers, i always have a dilemma wether or not ot go with adv blaster powerhandlers, or non advanced ones.
Basically using the non advanced ones i can drop speed on a non krayt. non FFS flamethrower by about 0.27 or more, but also lose about 25 - 30 points of damage, so i was wondering what would you commandos prefer?
say 830 max and 4.5 speed or 800 max 4.3 speed?

I would pick the one with the higher DPS. I can't tell that without the minimum damage however.

When it comes to Flamerthowers, SPEED IS KING. We do so much damage that losing 20-30 is not a big deal. But the difference between 4.2 and 4.5 is 2 sec difference in speed with our specials. and that is a BIG differnce.

I would have to say the speed is were it is at. If you can get 5 extra shots in instead of higher damage shots your better off in my opinion.

I'll take a 2.5-speed with 800 damage anyday over a 1000 damage 4-speed.

Yep, Speed everytime. I wish more WS paid attention to the needs of their clients.
