Hi, my name is Romana and I'm a recovering commando. It's been one month since I gimped myself by joining this profession.....

I stuck with commando this long waiting for our promised fixes. When word came from test center last week about our "significantly increased damage" putting us on par with a novice marksman with a CDEF pistol I decided to start looking for another profession. I settled on bounty hunter.... I already had master marksman, master scout took two days to get (it's amazing how the BHs think master scout is so hard to get. It's nothing compared to getting unarmed IV) and voila.

But I haven't dropped commando yet and I won't be for awhile. The BH pistol skill mods and specials are great on the launcher pistol.... and the launcher pistol earns heavy weapons xp, allowing me to climb the gimped light lightning cannon tree in Bh that every BH complains about.

So I thought I'd share this as a back-up profession for everyone else like me, who's just about ready to drop commando but is holding on in the almost non-existant hope that the class receives some love soon. You can start building BH skills now, and without dropping commando. This gives you a great head start if you do drop commando, gives you LLC skills (if you want master BH) much more easily then if you tried to get them as a pure BH.... and the BH pistol skills on the launcher pistol are nothing to sneeze at; just try eyeshot with one during PvP.
