Heh, our guns are just fireworks. I lend out my launcher pistol to friends just so they can make things go BOOM. Personally, my gun has been reduced to a play thing. However, I at least get to see other people excited to use it... because quite frankly, I'm not excited I have to use it. I want my flamethrower to be a viable weapon, not a pistol. I want to look like Hank Scorpio defending my secret volcano base (someone out there must know what I'm alluding to).

Whew, I'm glad you replied within my post's first 24 hours. I feel a lot better knowing there are good people out there. If no one had recognized it within 24 hours, I would've lost faith in all human society (as opposed to just SOE Devs of society). Now I'm off to Kentucky Fried Panda, it's finger Ling-Ling good.

One of my friends hasn't been able to get online for a bit due to isp problems, and asked me how swg was doing...

me: ...commando forums are still one giant dev flamefest
him: commandos should become an improved form of the entertainer and put on neat light shows
me: haven't you seen a launcher pistol in action?

Perhaps maybe it should be up to us commandos to make fireworks versus the artisans? I mean, we need to serve SOME form of a purpose besides fps hogs...right?
