It does blast damage too, just no armor piercing multiplier. I still haven't seen a rocket launcher on Bria although I did recieve a particle beam from Jabba, and when I fire it the combat window displays my hit with a rocket laucher. Plus it shoots something that has smoke trailing from it, travels through the air in a sidewinder motion and explodes on impact. Looks like a rocket launcher not a particle beam to me, but the high end damge isn't very good at all, something like 200.
