Thread: Commando Templates
Um Okay Well I just started commando and was wondering what some of your templates are. Do any other proffesions complement commando nicely. Just wanted to see different opinions. If you could post what you have or are working toward that would be great. Thanks in advance.
Fact: You are a damage FRONTLOADER (other elite classes will do the same damage do you by the time your flamer cools down).
Fact: You frontload said damage from melee range.
Fact: You have a huge damage penalty when taking melee damage.
Complement commando with some class that gives you lots of melee damage resistance. TKA has been widely accepted as one of the best options.
Okay, i will stop my slumber here for a second, as the general question of this thread is indeed a fascinating one:
Commando Templates.
It is important to know that basically you have to differ between a "Commando-Template" and a "Template-Commando"
A Commando-Template is a character Template consisting of Master Commando and assorting Professions
A Template-Commando is a Proffession utilizing single advantages of the Commando Profession
For Commando Template you have the following as the most utilized:
- MCMD - CH 3210
- MCMD - MSM - SCT 1000
- MCMD - TKM - SCT 1000
- MCMD - SCT 3000 - MED 4440
- MCMD - PST 0002 - MBR - SMG 0030
- MCMD - TKA 4000 - MED 0100 - SMG 0040 - SCT 3000
For Template Commandos the following are interesting:
- MCH - CMD 0040 - MED 0100
- MPST - CMD 0000 - MSM
- PST 0441 - BH 0040 - CMD 0000
Note that certain of these Templates are highly specialized and there are a lot more.
These are just to give a glimpse at the possibilities and of course the Template.Commandos are more Powerfull than the Commando-Templates. But that aside, it should be enought to answer the original question.
