I was a 2/3/4/0 commando and gave it all up to be able to master CH and Rifleman. Thie was a big mistake for me. Rifleman hits the wrong poola nd rapidly loses the need for pets.I love using pets as meatshields andI wont apologize or "get some tactics" as Ive seen others say to do. Anyway, with that mini-rant out of the way, let me just say, its good to be a commando again. I wont be able to master it, so ive decided to embrace my grenadeer/MCH destiny. The funny thing is, I am now using my lp and har more than when I planned to master commando originally. Master commandos,I salute you. I stand in awe of anyone who can keep away from the meatshields and still master this fun, but very challenging profession. Unfortunately, I am not that strong.One day maybe...

drop mch and become mtka and you can also be master commando. a nice ubese 50%+ kinetic and you can tank (flamer dot and tka = can o' wupass)

Ive thought about dropping CH for TKM. I only have 34k/125k for tkn and my main concern about tk is that I rarely PvP. 99% of my combat is PvE which is why ive gotten as much CH as I have. If anyone feels that TKM/Commando is just as good for tanking inPvE, I would be very interested in hearing it. Commando is my favorite profession by far, but I feel like a grenadeer/MCH is my only path to sucessful PvE since my tactical skills are less than stellar atm. Prove me wrong and I will gladly master commando and tk. Thank you.

I feel dumb replying to my own post again, but I just had my first true commando soloing run and wanted to share my excitement.It was a mtn worrt lair and I used two methods on it. First I used my lp to bleed a mtn worrt then set it on fire then went unarmed. This had mixed results since my flame1 tends to miss the first time and cycling thru 3 weapons got me turned into dogmeat really fast. The method that worked the best was to walk up and set it on fire,hopefully in one shot, then immediately go unarmed to finish it off.Im sure this is a yawner for most combat tested commandos,but I have never gone without a pet to tank for me. I can feel the meatshield addiction starting to fade already. Now I understand the reason people go master commando/TKM. Who needs pets when you can set something on fire then knock its head off?
