Ok, I'm still relatively new to the whole stat migration thing and what are ideal setups for different character classes. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what an ideal balance for my stats would be? I'm not sure, but does your character race ever factor into the stat migration as well? If so, I should let you know that my character is a Rodian. Thanks for any help you can provide.

yes race plays a VERY key role in stat migration, there are species where they have a very high amount of a certain attribute and a low amount of another, and that cant be changed

however, humans are the most verstile, and are very well balanced as a race

anyways, as a human, i prefer a very balanced ham..1000 hp, 990 action, 850 mind - and my hp/action secondary stats are approx the same - 400-450, with my mind secondary being the lowest

but if i was playing another race, id use both the race's strength, and balance the hams out just a bit to cover up the race's weaknesses...but i only play as a human commando (my 2nd char is a mon cal crafter...so...dont need to fight ) and humans basically have no strengths and no weaknesses

I have reduced my action to 700 and made my mind 950 because as a commando, my action is not really a factor in battle most of the time and 9 times outa 10 im incapped because of my mind.

Because the way the game is made, two stats are totally useless:

Consitution and Stamina

There is no need to regen Health and Action...since they can be healed. Put Con and Sta at bottom.

The onlyregen that matters is Willpower (Mind regen)...since it cannot be healed. But all the points here.

As for the rest...usually, action/quickness is not as important at the other ones.

I'm a Zabrak,my setup islisted below, low on action and health because they are simple to get buffed(hard to find a dancer/musician to mind buff anymore.......errrr.........ever). I have no problem surviving on starter planets and have done missions non-buff on Dath several times when I couldn't find a doc. You just need to be aware of hostiles, watch your @$$ and keep follow on a medic if you have to. Pixie helps when it's working but the downer really sucks. Typically I'll go buffed and Moun Gold if doing really hard stuff(Nightsisters, force sensitives, AT-ST's, or overt running into an enemy city/base). Good luck, try a few different things and see what you like. Also, don't forget to put a little extra into the stats that matter for your weapon/profession(mind for medics, action forlight weaponspecials, health for brawler tanking).

Health: 700

Strength: 400

Constitution: 400

Action: 700

Quickness: 400

Stamina: 400

Mind: 1100

Focus: 500

Willpower: 900

Excellent. Thanks for the tips. Now I know the main areas to focus on with the stats. I really appreciate the input.
