does the Thrown Weapon Distance cyber arm work for you guys and grenades?

so far i know it doesn't work on Scout/Ranger traps, and it doesn't work for Jedi's Saber Throw. I've been told that it doesn't work on nades either, but wanted to get it straight from you guys to be sure.

if it doesn't work on nades, than this cyber arm is completely useless.
