Thread: which wep to use to grind heavy beam 1

maybe a silly question but...
I think I've looked at every weapon with the word "beam" in its name, and i've bought a few of them.
I can't seem to figure out which weapon to use to pick up the first box for heavy beam weapons (x1xx)
I've got beam weapons that require skills, but which do I use to get those skills?

If you look near the bottom of the skill sheet when you click on a skillbox(the part where it tells you how much xp you have out of what you need), you will see that you need heavy weapons xp for that line of Commando. Therefore, any weapon that gives heavy weapons xp will let you get boxes in Commando. There are currently two weapons that give Heavy Weapon's xp and only require the Novice Commando box. The Launcher Pistol (crafted CL 14 weapon) and the Corellian Destroyer (looted from Kerritamba wookies in the Kworir Forest on Kashyyyk near the Kerritamba villiage CL 30). Good luck with Commando.

ahhh Launcher Pistol! thanks so much for the help... omw to buy one now

Oh yeah, and one more thing, the Launcher Pistol has an AOE (Area of Effect) so you'll aggro everything within a 6m radius of the target. The Corellian Destoryer doesn't. Oh crap he already left the thread. Well, he'll find out soon enough. /whistles innocently
