Thread: Does weapon speed and speed mods effect the timer delay between specials?

Yes...in the current formula, the faster the weapon and the speed mods a profession has, the less combat queue delay they incurr between specials...
This effects ALL combat professions but is more noticable with Commandos because we have the slowest weapons with little mods to help improve things...
This is also why we have been pushing the devs to add +30 Flame Thrower Speed (and while we are at it, +30 HAR speed) to the MasterCommando box...Currently with an Average FT we sit at about a 8 to 9 second combat queue delay...with +30 added, this would be reduced down to about a 4 to 5 second delay...This won't put us ahead on DPS as compared to other professions, but this WILL bring us more in line with other ranged professions and serve as a good "band-aid" fix while we await the new speed/damage formulas that are coming with the Combat Revamp...
