They are fun to shoot, but even at master you miss more than you hit most of the time. There just not that accurate.

Hmm most everything else but the rocket launcher doesn't work to well. I take that back. The particle beam cannon kicks butt if you can find one. Rocket Launchers are good however they miss way too much, but when they hit they hit. You can usually kill a rebel trooper or a group of them if they are all standing next to each other assuming you didn't miss.

New Commando here. I looked through the FAQ's andI really didn't see much mention of these awesome sounding weapons. So, I'm just wondering what the deal is with the Heavy Acid Beam, Heavy Particle Beam Cannon, and the Lightning Beam Cannon.
I understand that the Rocket Launcheris pretty fun, just expensive. I'm just wondering what the story is on these. Is it the same deal as the RL, or are they borked. They sound great, but I have yet to see any stats or anything (admittedly I haven't been looking that hard).
I'd just like to get the scoop, because, as the end of every G.I. Joe cartoon says, "Knowing is half the battle".

Launcher weapons crafted with accurcy in mind is very useful.
I have some RLs my guild weaponsmith has made me that are +45@48m which makes them hit most of the times. 3 of those rounds and most targets are pretty soft.
If you find a good WS you can hopefully geta nice price. Mine sells me RLs for 20K, which is little over half his vendor price.
I've been a Commando before and at that time I used HPBCs. IIRC they worked pretty ok. They hit pretty hard. The ones I have are pretty poorly doneso the accurcy isn't very good, which is very noticable.
I would say that in my current state, 4442 Commando, proning at ideal range Ihit about 8/10 RLs shotsand perhaps 5/5 HPBCs shots

my weapon smith is cooking me up loads of weapons, yesterday got a HPB with +74@ideal hehehehe
