I think it can be done with dodge food, synth/exo cakes and a lot of patience (and maybe janta stim B's)

stick flame dots, unequip flamer and tank TK style, always keep the krayt intimidated.

krayts are very easy to solo with that template. Intim the krayt 1st, then stack all the burns you have.....YES they do all stack, then switch to TK and well, just stand there, don't even worry about attacking just keep the Intim stuck, once the burns wear off, reapply them, it'll take you about 15-20min to kill the krayt this way Solo!

If flame DOTs still stick I'd say stick the DOTs on then pull out your vk, put on all the states you can, and get to work with head hit or something like that.

ehm......headti would be counter productive as you flame dot works on health....you get next to no damage in with tK, maybe stick to unarmed combo 1....stating krayts and most high end mobsis also impossible (except intimidate)

I took down a krayt solo yesterday in order to get a scythe blade schematic, im master commando/master tka and no medic skills but it is possible if you use your abilities and make the most of what you have.

This is how it went down and for reference you will need BE clothes with mods for intimidation:

I used my macro to start with which included intimidate and knockdown 2 (i managed to knock him down a couple of times so this is possible) from the fight i had you will not be able to put any other states on a krayt.

I managed to get my intimidation put on him in the first try and i kept him that way for the entire fight also using knockdown which gave me a couple a seconds of him not hitting me.

When i managed to intimidate i would swap to my ft and use flame single 2 and then switch back before the intimidation wore off and continue to knock down 2, intimidate, and the occassional unarmed 3 till the flame dot disappeared. When the dot disappears i would throw in another intimidate till i managed to get it to stack on to him when i got i would switch to my ft again and use flame single 2 and round again we go.

My health was hardly hit though my mind was taking a battering, i was using brandy and ahrissa, if i had entertainer buffs aswell this would have stopped the panic because when the fight ended my mind was almost gone.

I was using 80% kinetic armour with 70% base and of course as a tka i have melee mitigation 3 which meant the krayt was hardly hitting me, also its worth using center of being aswell to avoid a few of his attacks aswell.

The fight lasted only 30 mins and it was this quick because of my trusty flamer, at the end of the fight the krayt had over 150k wounds on him, and this was one of my most fun fight aswell.

Without my tka defences i would have been unable to do this which i hope the combat revamp will resolve because i really hate being the cliche of commado/tka im commandoat heart and would prefer to take rifleman than tka to give me a more commando badass feel.

also use the surrounding mobs to your advantage. if u run through a mob and the krayt hits them they attack it u can rest a bit. and stacking flames

If anyone doesn't already know this, I'm pretty sure that Flame DoT's from flamethrowers with different serial numbers stack also. This would be VERY VERY bad if you were competing for loot rights, as it adds another 'person' to the equation when computing loot rights, but if you're the only one (or your group) around, it can lay down damage like hell hath no fury. I've been known to set 16 flame DoT's on a Nightsister Elder, and when they warp 90m away with 50k HAM left, they're dead before we can run to them.

TK/Commando template: In my experience, TKM is much better for killing low-mid level PvE nests, while Commando is MUCH MUCH better at killing a single target over 200k HAM.

Would just the first box of dirty fighting be enough to have a good level of feign death???

The question I have is how do you determine if any subsequent DOT's have stuck? Do you just determine that if you hit w/ FS2, it stuck? You only get one state icon whether you have placed a DOT or if someone else has done it! Also, did you get FS2 AND FS1 to stick with one FT?

Not 100% sure bout this but if you show a hit in the combat log you have got the dot.
