Bah 250pts is just not enough..
my template i wanted.. Commando/Squad Leader.. missed by something like 40pts.. damn that unarmed pre-req (or damn that explorer pre-req)

I hear you. I love SL, but it's just not practical with all the skill points it requires.

You can do 0040 Commando / Master SL...have 18 points left over..IF you are dead set on being a SL.
Its a cool prof...Very useful, and often overlooked

I still don't quite understand why Commando requires all branches of Marksmen. As I see it, a Commando does not really get any benefits from the pistol and carbine branches. There are other Special Professions like TK that only require one branch of Brawler. It would be nice to either see those two Marksmen branches removed from the Commando requirement or at least make Master Marksman much more of a benefit to the Commando. That would be like an extra 28 SP to work with. Perhaps use them to gain better medic skills while keeping TKM as well as some other nice possibilities.

And you're right, as it is now, any changes to SP req will have to wait till post-CU so we see what we get there, maybe master marksman will make a good sense then (hoping).
