Good idea. I was thinking of pistoleer myself. But did neither because a) not enough skillpoints to spend, b) this is fast levelling enough (might take longer to grind out pistoleer skills/BH than heavy weapon this way)
Don't think I need the flame dots anymore with my new rifle lol

Ive almost finished my grind up this great and holy proffession, and have found using pba1 on lairs to be the best way of getting exp, quite happily get about 300k xp per lair. I do my missions on quenkers though, seeing as they only have about 4-5k ham and the cap for xp is at 3k anyway.
Go to where thugs spawn (Naboo is a good place)
Make a macro that targets yourself then the next closest MOB and attack with a FT, loot it (a seperate macro) and repeat.
Put a good movie on and then just check your inventory ever 45 min to an hour and delete the loot you dont want and let it fly again.
Doing it this way I didnt have have get buffed I didnt have to waste time "grinding" and I was able to make most all of the loot kits and made 1 to 1.5 million just looted the thugs (at an average of 100 credtis per thug you can see how many it killed for me).
Once you do one line you can max out the exp at 900k so you dont have to train all that much.
Hope this helps some of you like me that can't spend days upon days of grinding just to be able to be a master. Hope it helps.
Lol yes typo, was meant to read 300k xp per brandy session

Umm...How?
The lair would have to spawn 100 quenkers to get that much
typo?

Or if you want an even faster grind...
While you grind Marksman and unarmedharvest every creature you can and level up exploration...once you master marksman keep grinding with pistols until you can get BH and eventually 0030 BH. By this time you should be at the speed cap or close to it with a LPusing point blank area.
Then use a LP to grind commando.
By investing 750k experience into BH pistols you get more than double the damage output for the LP, so the 3mil+ heavy weapons exp will be fast, about 400k exp per hour for me.
Or you could just get a really good Gorax LP and forget about teh BH part but getting BH pistols give you a lot of speed cheap.
Edit: Btw that tip will cost you one exceptional advanced rifle barrel BermagSell it to meeee!

No stealing my tips!
I've given out that tip a couple of times, I was a master rfileman/pistoleer/ BH pistols before I went Rifleman commando.
It really does help out though. of course, unless you already have BH pistols, It isn't REally effective unless you are starting from scratch using from novice marksman.

Here is a VERY easy way to master Commando in 2 days of and never have to play.

Simple Macro I used for this approach.
/loot;
/kneel;
/pause 4;
/ui action cycleTargetOutward;
/attack;
/pause 1;
/ui action cycleTargetNext;
/macro (name here) or use the ui action toolbarSlot##;
The cycle target next will help prevent the MOB from all spawnin at the same time. Adjust the pause time after the attack if you are not that accurate with the ranged weapon and find yourself getting hurt. Get an overhead view of the spawn point, making sure you change your field of fiew (settings) maxed to the right. Zoom all the way out. Don't wear armor..
Play the game dont macro it.

The sooner they remove recursive macros the better imho.....
Play the game dont macro it.
Need more macros...I want a macro that will have my toon wander around and doing missions for me...Better yet, I want a macro that will turn on my computer - load up SWG - log in - AND PLAY for me.
One that will scratch my sa## will be nice too.
Use this macro if you find yourself in need of credits...find yourself frustrated with the lack of accuracy of the FT and want to be able to play the Commando profession with the FT.
OFF SUBJECT-
Note: I am PO'd with being outdamaged from other professions (Lord nyax camping). I would like to see a group of commando's go to the Lord Nyax place..camp his arse..and outdamage the 7+ swordsmen that are camping Nyax RIGHT NOW!
and of course...here is a good macro to get the 'edge'
/target Lord Nyax;
/flamesingle2;
/loot;
/macro (name here)
This will allow you to target Nyax and not the other goons that spawn in his little den (let the swordsmen worry bout them). This macro should allow the grouped commando's to get off a fs2 shot the instant he pops up, catch his butt on fire, and hopefully incap Nyax before the swordsmen (and riflemen)can outdamage us....probably don't even need to be buffed to do this?
Better living through the use of MACROs
