This is for all of you who want to get your commando on but feel you can't in SWG

About half done with the d/l...even at about 1 mb every 10 seconds, still a dang 1 hour 10 minute or so download...looks well worth the wait tho

The PC demo is diffirent from the KotOR2 disk demo apparently.

Damn! The graphics are all messed up on this...its all distorted and cant see anything, even though my computer is all passed and whatnot on the system check...grr...and, there was a demo on the KOTOR 2 disk??? lol

A pity I cant play the PC demo..but man, the Xbox one rocked! Cant believe I didnt know KOTOR2 had it as a demo heh...really felt like you were a part of a squad of commandos!

The kotor 2 demo was awesome, it took me a while to figure out the controls and to get used to doing a shooter on xbox, but I loved it. Gonna try the pc one now.

Yeah on the Xbox controls, took me a while...especially the interchangeable system...I was shooting everything with my Assault Rifle (and was taking a lot of damage)...and didnt even know I had both a sniper rifle and a rocket launcher that I could switch to...

The AR/Pistol are pretty good, but to really get by you need to know your weapons very well and use your squad to its full potential (setting up sniping spots, etc...tho the squad commands ought to be better on PC as you can control them a bit more efficiently...no idea how to do that with the xbox controller save for the simple stuff unfortunately).

Like on the demo mission on the xbox, the first time I went up against the 6 battle droids i, I charged em like a clumsy drunkard, took critical damage and ran out of ammo (it took a few minutes to get used to the sensitivity...the movement is a bit more realistic) on my AR. The second go around? I switched to my rocket launcher, made sure they went past...ran out, and took em ALL out in a single hit. The second run through, I barely took any damage by actually outsmarting the enemy rather than going in Rambo Style heh....(granted outsmarting AI isnt that hard, but in shooter games usually either you go in Rambo style or stealth because the AI just has TOO much firepower...with Republic Commando, even against a squad of droids you can take a great deal of damage if you just go in guns a blazing)

Really a neat game.

I know what you said but I just wanted to point out to everyone that the controls are almost identical to the Halo controls. (On Xbox)
